Key Role in Our Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Despatch Operator. This specialist role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate bird processing, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

In this position, you will work closely with our team to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. Your strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in achieving our goals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively manage their time to meet deadlines. If you are self-motivated, can work independently, and have a strong commitment to health, safety, and quality, we encourage you to apply.

Daily Tasks:

  • Ensure accurate bird processing and despatch operations
  • Operate handheld scanners for inventory management
  • Lift 12-15 kgs repetitively throughout the shift
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Follow health, safety, and quality procedures

Requirements:

  • Forklift license (high reach forklifts experience preferred)
  • Handheld scanner experience or familiarity
  • A commitment to health, safety, and quality in the workplace
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with numbers and maintain accurate records
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
