Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Processing team in Sorell. As a key member, you'll contribute to accurate bird processing and support our operational success.

This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who can work independently with strong attention to detail. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.

Daily Responsibilities

- Operate the Chick Weigh Line to ensure correct birds and quantities for each drop
- Accurately record day-to-day processing operations and performance data
- Make informed decisions about product quality and consult with technical teams as needed
- Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement projects
- Follow work instructions and ensure equipment is ready for start-up
- Assist with equipment maintenance and prepare for production changes
