Job Title: Financial Accountant and Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant and Analyst to join our team in Queensland. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and making a significant impact on our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department and oversee financial transactions and reporting within the company.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risks, implement effective risk management policies and procedures, and ensure the organisation's financial security.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, measure performance, and evaluate financial efficacy of business initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Queensland operations and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Commerce, Business, or Accounting.
  • A recognised Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant.
  • Tenacity, passion, and pace – this is a strong business partnering opportunity.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis/reporting within a commercial business partnering capacity.
  • Strong focus on process improvement and driving efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of financial reporting packages.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
