Salary

A competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 AUD per annum reflects the level of expertise required for this role. In addition to a generous base salary, you will be eligible for performance-based bonuses and other benefits.

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Research Fellow (Level A or B) to join our team. As a key member of our group, you will contribute intellectually to our research program, spanning from basic science investigations to studying patient-derived samples. Your responsibilities will include designing, executing, and analysing experiments, supervising research assistants, and mentoring junior researchers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, computer science, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in molecular biology, immunology, bioinformatics, or protein degradation research, with a track record of publications and statistical analysis;
  • Strong leadership potential, with mentoring and supervisory experience;
  • Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team;
  • Proficiency with analytical software (R, Python, MATLAB), along with strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, along with high-level organisational and problem-solving abilities.
