About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Operator to deliver high-quality food services in a dynamic environment.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to patient care through efficient catering services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and efficient catering services across 7 days with various shifts from 7am-8pm
  • Prepare vegetables, meat, salads, sandwiches, and toast, operate kitchen equipment, and ensure food trays and trolleys are ready for service
  • Assist with meal service, tea and coffee preparation, while maintaining clean, hygienic work areas and washing equipment

Requirements

Candidates should have experience in catering and basic knowledge of Food Safety and Infection Control Standards.

You will demonstrate flexibility with rostering, work effectively independently or within teams, and meet tight timeframes.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
