We are currently seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Food Services Coordinator at a leading aged care facility in New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a high-performing team.

About the Role:

The Food Services Coordinator will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and evaluating the Food Safety Program, as well as preparing, serving and presenting food and refreshments to residents in accordance with the program.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to menu planning to meet resident needs and preferences;
  • Prepare, serve and present food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program;
  • Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program;
  • Deliver meals and refreshments to all residents in a friendly and timely manner;
  • Participate in ongoing quality review of the Food Safety Program;
  • Report any concerns or difficulties experienced with residents in relation to food and beverages.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Food Handling and current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
