About This Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of People and Culture Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with management on people management matters, contributing to organisational change projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching and guidance to management on people management matters
  • Develop and implement workforce planning and retention strategies
  • Maintain positive employee relations and engagement
  • Design and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Develop, review and maintain policies and procedures

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to negotiate complex situations. You must be able to interact positively at all levels, including dealing professionally with staff from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support (or equivalent experience)
  • Contemporary knowledge of human resource organisational policies and practices
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation and 'Employer of Choice' practices

You will also need a valid NSW Driver's license, a paid Working with Children Check, and a National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check.
