We are seeking a skilled Community Development Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future development of our community.
Our organisation is at the heart of significant environmental, economic and societal change that will ensure a more sustainable future for our region, New South Wales, and beyond.
This leadership role involves planning for the future growth and development of our community, balancing opportunities for progress with the need to protect the environment and promote social equity.
You will have the opportunity to forge your professional path while actively contributing to the future success of our community.
As a leader, you will partner with key stakeholders to tackle exciting challenges and seize emerging opportunities in the Renewable Energy Zones.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to progressive yet sustainable growth of the community through strategic planning and project management.
- Leading a team to achieve positive outcomes through effective leadership, communication, negotiation and project management skills.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote social equity, environmental sustainability and economic growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in planning or related discipline with senior level management experience in the public and/or private sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative environment both inside and outside the organisation, and commitment to providing excellence in customer service.
- Strong strategic planning, financial management skills and business acumen.
- Highly developed leadership, communication, negotiation and project management skills.
- Sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
