We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Import/Export Operator to join our team at Wymap Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with our Imports Supervisor to ensure timely pickup of freight from carriers and maintain clear communication with airlines for flight and freight details.
  • Data Management: Capture and manage consolidation information, send pre-alerts and document availabilities, and ensure accurate billing within 24 hours of shipment arrival.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the check-in process, ensuring all freight is processed efficiently and accurately. Report any damage or surplus cargo immediately.
  • Customer Support: Provide top-notch service at the delivery counter and handle all customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and speed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Strive for process improvements to enhance productivity and profitability. Participate in regular meetings and contribute to team goals.
Requirements:
  • Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency in data entry and communication.
  • Flexibility: You're available to work on weekends, overtime, and public holidays as needed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate closely with our Warehouse and Transport Teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Proactivity: Address customer issues promptly and keep your workspace organized and safe.
  • Knowledge: Maintain current regulatory qualifications and participate in relevant training.
