Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team at Busways. The ideal candidate will have extensive end-to-end payroll experience and the ability to manage weekly and fortnightly payroll for all staff.

About the Role

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate payment of all payruns for all employees on a weekly and fortnightly basis
  • Overseeing and managing the end-to-end payroll process, maintaining payroll system integrity, and reviewing payroll files to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to a team of payroll officers, including training new staff members, assigning tasks, and ensuring the team meets deadlines and performance targets
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6+ years' experience in a payroll team, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to successfully deliver high-quality outcomes and meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Office and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or working rights in Australia
