The Opportunity


Busways is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join their team in a period of growth and expansion. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of all employees, and providing leadership and guidance to the payroll officers.



Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and employment agreements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures to maintain payroll system integrity.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team in resolving complex payroll calculations and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the payroll manager to develop and maintain payroll best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the organisation's payroll practices align with legal obligations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.


About You

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in a payroll team with a focus on salary administration and compensation.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in managing a team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to deliver high-quality outcomes, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain successful relationships.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
