Job Title: Chief Broadcast Architect

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of broadcast signal chains, media workflows, and playout systems.

They should have experience in delivering complex broadcast projects, including IP-based and cloud-integrated systems.

Strong knowledge of software-defined solutions, cloud broadcasting, media orchestration, and automation is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing end-to-end broadcast solutions from content ingest to playout and distribution.
  • Leading the transition from traditional SDI-based infrastructure to IP-based, cloud architectures.
  • Defining and enforcing best practices and architectural standards that support automation, scalability, and high availability in broadcast operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software-defined solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends in cloud broadcasting, media orchestration, and automation.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Broadcast Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience delivering complex broadcast projects, including IP-based and cloud-integrated systems.
  • Strong understanding of broadcast signal chains, media workflows, and playout systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in public cloud platforms, including experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless architectures.
  • Solid background in software development and deployment, with proficiency in modern development practices such as version control and automated delivery pipelines.
  • Strong focus on software quality, with a deep understanding of both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across development, QA, and operations teams.
