Job Role:

A systems administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcast and conditional access platforms, IP platforms, and associated systems. This role requires a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues and implement changes to resolve problems
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure effective incident escalation and management
  • Conduct routine logging and daily checks to maintain operational KPIs
  • Develop and document procedures to improve operational efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant industry experience
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating environment, SQL databases (MS-SQL Server & Oracle), and Windows operating environment
  • Strong software skills in MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-Outlook
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Able to work a rotating 24/7 roster
