Role OverviewRole Overview: We are seeking a technically driven engineer to join our Sydney-based engineering Team. As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be involved in the design, deployment, maintenance and support of complex Broadcast and AV systems, with a strong focus on IP-based workflows, media transport and control system.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, maintain, and support Broadcast and AV systems, including routers, Multiviewers, KVM systems, and automation systems.
- Participate in project delivery across pre-staging, on-site installation, and client handover.
- Manage support desk tickets, identifying and resolving technical issues raised by customers or during the maintenance windows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system faults both remotely and on-site.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and technical issues in our support tracking system.
- Create, update and maintain customer knowledge base articles, internal and technical procedures.
- Prepare system documentation, diagrams, and operational handover materials.
- Attending training programs, gaining experience, and developing a strong understanding of broadcast systems and technology.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar Broadcast, AV, or Systems Integration role.
- Excellent attention to detail and the commitment to achieve goals.
- Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals (VLANs, Multicast, PTP).
- Experience with broadcast infrastructure such as SDI/IP routers, KVM systems, and video processing.
- Strong analytical and systematic fault-finding skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and translate into practical use.
- Hands-on experience with video-over-IP (ST2110, NMOS).
- Experience with system monitoring and SNMP tools.
