The role of Practice Manager at our organisation requires a dedicated individual to oversee the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services in clinics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for business planning, administration, financial management, leadership, and oversight of health service quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinic performance and lead strategies to provide holistic and culturally appropriate primary health care services to clients.
  • Monitor, order, receive, and dispose of vaccines according to cold chain management policy and procedures.
  • Ensure effective care coordination and case management approaches with clients for health and wellbeing services.
  • Oversee operations, performance, and profitability of the clinic to deliver on operational and strategic goals and objectives.
  • Conduct performance check-ins and provide feedback to support professional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review, monitor, and improve systems against agreed indicators.
Requirements
  • Prior experience within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service.
  • Previous experience working with electronic Patient Management Systems.
  • Qualification in Business, Management, Health, Nursing, or Allied Health.
  • Demonstrated high-level communication skills and confidence in interpersonal communication.
  • CURRENT C Class Driver's License.
  • CURRENT Criminal History Check.
  • CURRENT Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card).
  • CURRENT Disability Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
  • CURRENT CPR Certificate.
