About the Position

The Department Head - Student Services role focuses on student data and support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the school's data strategy
  • Tracking whole-school and individual student data for all students using OneSchool, Track Ed, OARS
  • Providing data insights and analysis to school leadership and teaching staff
  • Leading elements of pastoral care within the school's Connect program
  • Enhancing school-wide processes for academic mentoring and determining future possibilities for coaching

Additionally, the role involves collaborating with First Nations students to ensure equitable outcomes, supporting students in celebrating their culture through various school events, and case management of students as part of Student Services.

The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to improve pedagogy and achieve the school's vision.
