Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative professional to join our team as the Head of Department - Student Services.

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of strategies to improve student learning outcomes, attendance, and engagement in disadvantaged schools. They will work closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement programs that promote inclusive practices and support students' academic and personal growth.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse groups, including new arrivals, and will be able to provide guidance and support to teachers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student learning outcomes and attendance in disadvantaged schools.
  • Work with teachers and parents to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
  • Monitor student performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with external organizations to develop community engagement strategies and programs.
  • Liaise with agencies to support new arrivals and their families through integration into the new environment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and developing strategic plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
