Key Leadership Role: Student Engagement

The successful candidate will be a visionary leader who can foster positive student engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives throughout the school. As Head of Department - Student Services, you will play a vital role in supporting student success.

Job Overview

This leadership position requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of inclusive education, and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience with behaviour management frameworks, case management, and a background in rural or regional education is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background.
  • Prepare data returns for the Principal as requested.
  • Develop and implement management and engagement strategies including induction activities for new arrivals, and advise on specific academic, social and emotional needs of new arrivals.
