As a key member of Auto & General's Group Risk team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and other key risk-related policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the ORMF, conducting annual reviews and driving improvements.
  • Ensure that Auto & General's policies and procedures comply with external regulators (APRA, ASIC, CGC, and ICA).
  • Oversee the Document Register, tracking policy reviews and updates, and coordinating approvals.
  • Provide ongoing support to policy owners, ensuring timely submission and publication of documents.
  • Produce associated guidance documents and forms.
  • Implement policies and procedures across all relevant stakeholders, providing updates and reports to committees as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise policy management, with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards and their application in financial services.
  • General insurance industry experience is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • High impact presentation skills, with the ability to lead and think strategically.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience in developing policies and frameworks, with the ability to manage the review process and document control.
