Job Summary

This role involves working in partnership with child protection to ensure the rights and best interests of Aboriginal children are upheld and maintained.

You will respond to and work closely with child protection staff in the local area to meet with families where allegations of abuse and neglect of children have been made.

The Case Advisor role is responsible for participating and providing advice to child protection in case planning to ensure an Aboriginal perspective is considered in assessments, placement planning and decision making of the child.

You will be required to participate in the Lakidjeka After hours roster as needed.
