The position of Caseworker at the Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Aboriginal children and young people.

As a Caseworker, you will be part of a team that provides support to address underlying issues contributing to offending behaviour, including family dysfunction, mental health issues, trauma, attachment difficulties, intellectual disabilities, experiences of violence and abuse, poverty, disengagement with education, and lack of social connection.

You will facilitate access to relevant welfare, housing, family, and education services through supported referral, advocacy, negotiation, and coordination. Senior Caseworkers act as advocates, collaborating with professionals such as lawyers and doctors to protect clients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate services.
