Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Fraud and Investigations team. As a Risk and Prevention Management Professional, you will be responsible for enhancing fraud risk management capabilities and maturity across the Australian insurance business.

Reporting into the Fraud Risk and Operations Manager, you will collaborate with IAG's direct and intermediated insurance businesses to improve fraud risk management and identify opportunities to deliver greater value across the customer journey and insurance value chain.

To excel in this role, you will possess a developed understanding of fraud management or risk management principles and processes, with proven experience in interacting with senior stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent role open to candidates in all major cities in Australia (Sydney or Melbourne preferred). We offer flexible work arrangements with a mix of remote work and office-based collaboration.

About You

  • Experience working in fraud management or risk management in a complex corporate environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You can interact professionally with diverse groups, including senior leaders, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and link strategic goals with operational decisions
  • You can build and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver on business objectives
  • Understanding of fraud and corruption risks relevant to the general insurance industry
  • Ability to design effective controls in relation to current and emerging risks
  • Practical knowledge of relevant laws, legislations, and codes

An estimated annual salary for this role is around $100,000-$120,000 AUD, depending on your experience and qualifications.
