Risk Management and Security Lead

We are seeking a skilled Risk Management and Security Lead to join our team at David Jones.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead our risk management and security efforts. As the Loss Prevention Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our stores, customers, and employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Store Risk: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to prevent and mitigate losses, maintain store security, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Risk Management Policies and Procedures: Promote and implement risk management policies and procedures, investigate breaches, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stocktakes and Audits: Collaborate with the store team to prepare, implement, and investigate stocktakes, ensuring accurate inventory counts and identifying areas for improvement.
- Safety and Security: Manage the building security system, ensuring the safety of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, and visitors.
- WHS Practices: Uphold and promote effective WHS practices, providing guidance and training to store staff as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams, with strong people management skills and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Security Qualifications: Hold a Security Licence and First Aid Certificate.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, listening, and spoken communication skills, with the ability to multi-task, use initiative, and self-motivate.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet targets.
