About the Role
This senior role will support the development and implementation of health and wellbeing strategies focused on psychosocial risk management, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will provide expertise to create a culture that prioritises employee wellbeing, minimises the risk of work-related injuries and illnesses, and fosters a healthy and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice on injury prevention, injury management, rehabilitation, and return to work processes, including the development of suitable duties plans and associated documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement systems for managing Health, Wellbeing, Safety and Environment (HWSE) risks, specifically those related to health, hygiene, and psychosocial factors.
- Champion a supportive and effective early intervention and return to work program for employees experiencing injury or illness, providing coaching and education to employees and leaders.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to cultivate a culture that prioritises healthy activities and behaviours.
- Manage and maintain all workers' compensation claims and related communication within secure health data storage systems.
About You:
- You have 3-5 years experience in injury management, RTW coordination, personal injury, or workers' compensation insurance.
- You possess significant experience in managing workers compensation and injury management programs.
- You are an Allied Health professional looking to transition into a corporate environment, bringing your skills to prevent injury and focus on wellbeing.
- You demonstrate a proven track record of creating and delivering successful health strategies and injury/illness prevention programs, including psychosocial risk management.
- You can identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to support the health and wellbeing culture.
- You are comfortable working in a team and independently, using your initiative to plan tasks and manage workload.
- You excel at building and maintaining strong partnerships with external stakeholders, such as insurers and regulators.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
