Electrical Design Manager Position

The Electrical Design Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the technical integrity, safety, and quality of design and engineering works. This position involves overseeing the design and engineering aspects of assigned projects, working closely with the Project Manager to facilitate process governance, manage commercial aspects, and support procurement, construction, and commissioning efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Problem-Solving Expertise: Provide technical problem-solving and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Primary Interface: Serve as the primary interface for internal and external interactions, offering technical advice and guidance to the team.
  • Design Quality Enhancement: Enhance the quality, timing, cost-effectiveness, and innovation of design and delivery on assigned projects.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including design resources, project management, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement new opportunities for process improvements, technical skill enhancement, and overall design and engineering delivery.

Educational Background and Requirements:

  • University Degree: University degree in Engineering with a focus on Energy.
  • Previous Leadership Experience: Previous project leadership experience.
  • Project and Design Management Skills: Proven experience in Project and Design Leadership/Management.
  • Current Driver's License: Current driver's license is required for this position.
