Electrical Design Lead

The Electrical Design Lead will oversee the design and engineering aspects of assigned projects. This role is crucial in ensuring technical integrity, safety, and quality of design and engineering works while meeting project milestones.

This position requires a highly skilled individual to manage process governance, commercial aspects, and support procurement, construction, and commissioning efforts. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure agile adjustments, and maintain the project schedule.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical problem-solving and support throughout the project lifecycle. They will serve as the primary interface for internal and external interactions, offering technical advice and guidance to the team.

Key Objectives:
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the project team.
  • Develop and implement effective design and engineering strategies.
  • Enhance the quality, timing, cost-effectiveness, and innovation of design and delivery on assigned projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University degree in Engineering with a focus on Energy.
  • Proven experience in Project and Design Leadership/Management.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical design principles.
  • Able to travel intrastate, interstate, or internationally as required.
