Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Nurse to join our team at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital.

This role involves providing evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring patient and staff safety.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding nursing team members to deliver patient care and delivering education and support to individuals/patients for health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children check
  • Minimum 2 years recent Oncology Nursing Experience
  • Competence in Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration
  • IV Cannulation and Accessing of CVAD/Ports
  • ADAC trained and certified
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
