Logistics Coordinator Role

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the daily operations of our transportation network in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and send End of Shift reports with load details, including reasons for delays and action items.
  • Communicate with dock teams and NOC regarding driver arrivals and any site-related issues.
  • Coordinate with carriers to resolve delivery and pickup problems.
  • Develop and disseminate daily load plans to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor trailer arrival and departure times to ensure timely task completion.
  • Process data from multiple sources to generate operational reports.
  • Maintain yard organization and safety by engaging drivers and ensuring minimal delays.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in fast-paced logistics environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Work 38 hours/week, with overtime as required.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
