Economic Equality Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in advancing gender equality by driving the Equal Economic Opportunity initiative.
About the Position- The successful candidate will possess an extensive understanding of philanthropic and impact investment strategies that promote women's economic empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including civil society organisations, social enterprises, philanthropic entities, and impact investors.
- Collaborate closely with Minderoo's Advocacy and Engagement function to advocate for law and policy reform supporting economic empowerment for women in Australia and select countries.
- Work with Minderoo's Impact Investing team to develop and implement the Equal Economic Opportunity impact investment strategy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in developing, delivering, and/or managing strategies to promote gender equality and/or economic empowerment.
- Relevant tertiary degree with a solid grasp of commercial and financial models.
- Established networks across impact investing, philanthropy, government, and business sectors.
