Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to oversee daily activities, ensuring exceptional product and service delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, prioritizing quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Budget Management: Oversee labor, expenses, accounts payable/receivable, and profit/loss management
  • Scheduling and Planning: Ensure resource and material management planning meets demand effectively
  • Customer Service: Foster consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences across retail and production
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety standards, government laws, and local regulations
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, including raw materials and finished goods
  • Disruption Response: Develop and implement contingency plans for operational disruptions
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with support office, customers, and business partners
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents occurring within or on-site

Requirements:

  • Business Acumen: Analyze reports to devise performance enhancement strategies
  • Fundamental Knowledge: Understand budgeting, forecasting, labor, and materials management
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve disputes within teams and between departments
  • HACCP Framework: Implement new standards as required
  • Workplace Safety: Possess knowledge beyond HACCP standards
  • Change Management: Lead a team in managing change within a dynamic environment
  • Leadership: Focus on the customer experience while leading a team
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks
  • Potential Development: Foster skills development and harness success through others
  • Communication: Demonstrate exceptional communication and time management skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Management, Operations, or related field
  • Certificate in Leadership and Management or equivalent industry/professional experience
  • Food Safety Certificate or appropriate industry/professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food handling or manufacturing
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a manager in retail or sales
  • First Aid Training and Forklift licensing (desirable)
