About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Distribution Specialist to join our team at the Qantas Group. As a key member of our pricing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of pricing information across our distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and support to various teams across the Qantas Group, ensuring clarity and accuracy in fare, rule, and ancillary data interpretation across distribution systems.
  • Deliver pricing information in a timely and accurate manner, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance price distribution processes.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to contribute to business process improvement initiatives, participate in project development, and communicate pricing strategies effectively.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in airfare distribution, tariffs, IATA fare construction, and ticketing.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate complex pricing information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in airfare distribution using ATPCO.
  • Degree in a business-related discipline (desirable).
  • Expert knowledge of tariffs, IATA fare construction, and ticketing.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of airline pricing, sales, and distribution practices.
  • High-level knowledge of procedures for establishing passenger fares.
  • Ability to self-manage in a team environment and work effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Resilience and ability to deal with change, challenges, and setbacks.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance company and departmental commercial interests.
