About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Manager to lead our Deposits Pricing & Governance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business outcomes and delivering strategic initiatives that enhance our market-leading proposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of experts in Product, Analytics, and Data Science to develop and deliver a strategic pricing strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day interest rates across multiple products to achieve optimal balance, net interest earnings, and market share results.
  • Oversee the short, medium, and long-term performance and profitability of the deposit product portfolio by understanding and balancing all business levers.
  • Enhance Retail Deposits pricing decision tools/assets, including market share, price optimisation, retention, acquisition, and internal & external churn/switch.
  • Collaborate with the Acquisition, Engagement & Retention team to develop and enhance price offers utilising the Group's core customer engagement engine.
  • Work with the broader Deposits Pricing & Governance team to deliver product and pricing strategies that enhance our product proposition.
  • Monitor and respond to competitor risks, industry/market trends, regulatory changes, compliance issues, and Reserve Bank monetary policy impacts on product portfolio performance.
  • Contribute financially viable insights to the formulation of product Customer Value Propositions and customer management models.
  • Contribute to distribution strategies that increase product penetration across channels by identifying customer needs and recommending solutions that align with our One CommBank and Omni Channel objectives.
  • Act as a role model by consistently displaying leadership behaviours that foster productive working relationships and a strong performance culture within the Deposits and Everyday Banking teams, and the broader Retail Products team.
  • Provide analytical support to the entire Deposits Pricing & Governance team.
  • Manage regulatory data requests for the Deposits Pricing & Governance and Open Banking teams.
  • Manage stakeholders across Domains, Business Units, or Support Units, and leveraging expertise in regulatory requirements to present to external regulators and the Board.
  • Maintain key relationships with Treasury, Finance, and frontline teams.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and business, translating insights into actionable strategies for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all obligations across customer, regulatory, internal policy, and process frameworks.
  • Identify, articulate, and manage risks, dependencies, and compliance across work streams.
  • Manage the team's performance to meet defined objectives, including OKR tracking.
