
Urban Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Master Planner to join our development team. As a Master Planner, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation and contributing to the planning and delivery of complex projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working with the development team to obtain environmental approvals and monitoring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
- Specialising in Masterplanning, Environmental Assessments & Major Development Plans, ensuring that all planning reports meet legislative and regulatory requirements;
- Assisting in obtaining planning approvals for properties and aviation businesses/building approvals;
- Preparing reports to government and other stakeholders;
- Project managing external consultants and attending meetings and consultations with government and community groups;
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of town planning, urban design, recreation and social planning, land development, project management, strategic analysis and interpretation, research and documentation;
- A degree in Town Planning or related field such as Economic, Architecture, Environmental Science, Geography;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and meet tight timeframes;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
