Urban Forestry Specialist

The city's urban forest is a diverse and valuable resource, providing ecological and amenity benefits for its inhabitants and wildlife.

We are seeking an experienced Urban Forestry Specialist to play a key role in maintaining our urban forest, ensuring the biodiversity and natural beauty of our city are preserved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planting, watering, and maintenance of newly planted trees
  • Maintenance of established trees
  • Removal of dead and dying trees
  • Administration of tree-related regulations
  • Assessment of tree-related claims
  • Provision of technical advice on tree-related matters

The successful applicant will have a passion for urban forestry, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the importance of teamwork and customer service.
