Senior Urban Development Specialist

This is a full-time position located in Canberra for an Urban Planner. The role involves assisting in the development of urban design projects, conducting feasibility studies, engaging in statutory planning processes, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- A passion for urban design, site analysis, and Town planning.
- Strong research and report writing skills
- Knowledge of planning policies, legislative frameworks, and feasibility studies
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as CAD, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Urban Planner will also engage in daily tasks including site analysis, policy research, and participation in design workshops, with regular interaction with clients, consultants, and government bodies to ensure successful project delivery.
