Market Development Director Role

The role of Market Development Director is crucial for driving growth and expansion in the infrastructure and construction industries. It involves strategic planning, market research, and relationship building to identify new opportunities and enhance Bentley Systems' presence in the region.

This position requires a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. The successful candidate will be able to analyze data, identify growth areas, and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the industry.
  • Map infrastructure projects in the region and align them with Bentley's strategic priorities.
  • Engage with project teams to develop opportunities for Bentley solutions across the ecosystem.
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape RFPs, RFIs, and tenders to align Bentley's capabilities with project specifications.

Skill Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field and/or 15+ years of experience in the infrastructure, engineering, construction, and/or operations industry. A strong background in business development or sales is essential, as well as experience engaging with public and private sector stakeholders and influencing project lifecycles.

The successful candidate will be a goal-oriented and confident individual with excellent communication skills. They will be able to build high-performing teams and drive business growth through strategic planning and relationship building.
