Job Description

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate - Fixed Income And Interest Rate Operations. This role will be responsible for providing operational support to our Global Markets business by processing the Trade validating & settlement of Fixed Income products including but not limited to; Corporate and Government Bonds, Discount Securities, Securities Financing transactions and collateral.

 

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience within Markets or Markets Operations and be familiar with Fixed Income, Derivative and Commodity products and their general process for settlement. They will also have solid knowledge on Security Finance transactions and be able to articulate complex situations clearly in order to resolve current or future issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to our Global Markets business by processing the Trade validating & settlement of Fixed Income products
  • Process manual payments and manual fee calculations and complete the settlement of CBA funding requirements
  • Actively chase and follow-up on unsettled transactions
  • Perform daily reconciliations ensuring all exceptions are followed up/resolved in a timely manner with adequate audit trails

 

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled and experienced professional with demonstrable experience within Markets or Markets Operations
  • Familiarity with Fixed Income, Derivative and Commodity products and their general process for settlement
  • Solid knowledge on Security Finance transactions and ability to articulate complex situations clearly
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income, Derivatives Commodities products and security financing transactions
