Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trader to join our Fixed Income Trading Operations team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant trading experience, a thorough understanding of the Fixed Income landscape, and excellent numerical and analytical skills.

They will be responsible for formulating trading strategies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, and collaborating with the broader market making team.

  • Formulate Fixed Income trading strategy and execution
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and insights directly impacting the Fixed Income market
  • Implementation of algorithmic strategies and associated tools
  • Research and identify new opportunities
  • Collaboration with the broader market making team
  • Proactively engage with regulators, Issuers, Exchanges and Brokers
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant trading experience at a High Frequency Trading Firm
  • Thorough understanding of the Fixed Income landscape
  • Understanding of required pricing, hedging, and trading principles
  • Strong Academic record in Mathematics degree
  • Strong programming skills
  • Highly advanced ability in probability and statistics
  • Highly advanced inductive and deductive reasoning ability
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
