As the subject matter expert, you will provide expertise on trade ideas and ongoing support to Banking & Investment Specialists within NAB Private Wealth.
This role is integral to delivering best-in-class execution services to our private banking and wealth management clients.
While the primary focus is on fixed income products, the successful candidate will also support multi-asset execution across equities, FX, equity derivatives, and end-to-end capital markets transactions.

In the role of an Senior Associate, Fixed Income Sales & Execution you will join our Markets Group Team that's doubling down on owning it.
Each Day, You'll Go Above And Beyond To Drive accurate and timely execution of primarily OTC Fixed Income trades, with the ability to also execute and understand equities, FX, and structured products for Private Wealth clients as required.
Execute trading and sales activities with precision, particularly for our self-directed investor base.
Provide thought leadership and present insights on investor trends, trade flows, market movements (e.g.
EOD note, overnight wrap), trade ideas, and opportunities.
Maintain strong working relationships with market counterparties, internal relationship managers, and support teams.
Assist with fixed income portfolio implementation while proactively managing risk.
Enhance team efficiency by maintaining and developing tools, documentation, and procedures.
Educate and support internal Private Wealth teams on fixed income markets and securities.
Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to deliver best execution, drive sales activity, and bring capital markets transactions and multi-asset flows to Private Wealth clients.
Uphold compliance and risk management standards in all trading activities.

You'll need: Proven experience working in markets ideally in wealth management or financial markets with fixed income experience.
Multi-asset experience would be highly favourable.
Familiarity with the private wealth investor base in execution and/or sales capacity would be highly regarded.
Ability to act independently and make sound recommendations based on markets analysis.
Strong relationship management and communication skills is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time well in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Ability to breakdown and communicate technical/complex concepts to a broader audience.
