About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Australian fixed income investment team as a Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Specialist.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Developing and implementing fixed income investment strategies across multiple portfolios.
  • Maintaining compliance with mandate guidelines, risk profiles, and investment objectives.
  • Evaluating portfolio performance and attribution.
  • Providing input for client reports and other communications.
About Our Team

You will be working as part of our Sydney-based team, responsible for managing approximately AUD27 billion in institutional and wholesale client funds across various fixed income mandates.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A CFA or Master's degree is beneficial.
  • At least 5-10 years' experience in asset management or a financial services firm, with exposure to fixed income and derivatives markets.
  • Excellent knowledge of macroeconomics and fixed income strategies, particularly in Australian markets.
  • Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and communicate technical information effectively.
