We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a critical role in our organization. As a Client Engagement Manager, you will provide high-quality support to clients, participating in associated payroll operational activities.
This position requires strong knowledge of payroll practices and operations, as well as comprehensive understanding of current Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients via multiple channels for product, system, and legislation-related issues and escalations.
- Provide system and technical support.
- General enquiries.
- Legislation support including month-end and year-end requirements.
- Report building & reconciling all aspects of payroll.
- Process payrolls and provide support for month-end and year-end requirements, including STP and Pay Date filings.
- Act as a Payroll consultant to our clients, knowing their business payroll policies and supporting them for smooth processing.
- Work on support and escalation tickets daily and provide a status update report on tickets actioned at the end of the day.
- Maintain internal knowledge base and external documentation, including workarounds and issues impacting payroll processing.
- Build and manage client relationships with regular touch points and monthly proactive meetings.
- Own the testing of release manifests and features development within agreed timelines.
- Support parallel activities for Implementation clients to ensure quicker go-lives.
- Work with internal teams and clients to identify, build, and refine payroll best practice processes.
- Identify and recommend continuous system and process improvements.
- Minimum 3+ years of Customer Service experience via multiple channels (self-service, phone, live chat).
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices and operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of current Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
