
Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a skilled People Advisor to join our team in Tarro, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong HR professional to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic project.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in partnering with construction leaders to deliver operational HR support to over 300 white and blue-collar project-based employees.
This position requires strong knowledge of national and state regulatory frameworks, as well as demonstrated experience in managing employee relations and performance matters.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Law, Finance or other associated disciplines and/or 3-5 years' experience in a human resources advisory role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert support and advice to leaders and employees on all workplace relations matters.
- Recommend and support the implementation of HR strategies in collaboration with the People Manager.
- Lead and develop the HR Coordinator, building team capability and effectiveness.
- Oversee the full range of people management activities including recruitment, remuneration, employee relations, and offboarding / demobilisation.
- Recommend strategies to enhance employee performance and contribute to successful project outcomes.
- Provide accurate data, insights, and reporting on HR activities to support continuous improvement.
- Degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Law, Finance or other associated disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of national and state regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations and performance matters.
- Experience managing a direct report (desired).
