About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Specialist to join our team at the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland. As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive profitability and growth across our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to enhance profitability and growth
  • Utilize advanced pricing techniques and tools, including Generalised Linear Models (GLMs) and Generalised Boosted Models (GBMs)
  • Perform sophisticated analytical modelling using languages such as SAS, SQL, R, and Python
  • Synthesise complex issues into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
  • Manage end-to-end pricing processes and navigate complex engagements with a variety of stakeholders
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytic solutions
  • Demonstrate high-level internal consulting skills and effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Analyse insurance financial statements and leverage high-level financial literacy in decision-making
About You
  • Proven expertise in applying advanced pricing techniques and analytical modelling
  • Advanced skills in SAS, SQL, R, Python, or other relevant languages
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing analytic solutions across various technologies
  • Excellent internal consulting, communication, and negotiation skills
  • High level of computer literacy and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong financial literacy with the capability to analyse insurance financial statements
