About The Role
You will work closely with senior engineering, delivery, and commercial leads to create cost estimates that win work and can be delivered. Your expertise will help guide the approach from tender through to project handover, taking into account tensioning plans, tower erection, outage scheduling, and risk allowances.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop bid engineering strategies and technical approaches aligned to industry standards;
- Build accurate estimates using engineering inputs and supplier quotations;
- Support subcontractor engagement and BoQ development;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technical soundness and strategic positioning of inputs;
- Contribute to risk reviews and align timeframes and delivery milestones.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a similar field;
- Experience in high-voltage transmission, stringing, or linear infrastructure projects;
- Skills in tensioning methodology, foundation types, HV safety standards, and outage planning;
- Ability to interpret and translate technical content across delivery, design, and commercial teams;
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and practices.
