Electrical Project Engineer Job Summary
\We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-voltage transmission and stringing projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 3-5+ years of experience in high-voltage transmission, stringing or linear infrastructure projects.
\The successful candidate will possess skills in tensioning methodology, foundation types, HV safety standards and outage planning. They will also be able to interpret and translate technical content across delivery, design and commercial teams.
\Key Responsibilities Include:

- Bid Engineering & Technical Strategy: Develop stringing and tower methodologies aligned to AS/NZS7000 and AS2067; Build accurate, first-principles estimates and clear pricing models using engineering inputs and supplier quotations.\
- Tender Delivery: Collaborate with internal bid writers and commercial staff to ensure your inputs are technically sound and strategically positioned; Stress-test programs and methodologies against environmental, access and sequencing constraints.\
- Project Readiness & Support: Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams by contributing to methodology briefings and clarifying assumptions; Review subcontractor and supplier submissions for alignment with bid scope.\
- Able to prepare clear, evidence-based inputs into tenders with an eye for commercial viability.\
- Shape landmark work: Help deliver major infrastructure, enabling Australia's transition to renewable energy\
- Long-term pipeline: Be part of a growing business with projects in energy, rail, and communications\
- Tools to succeed: Work with experienced engineers, planners and commercial staff across the full bid lifecycle\
