Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Application Support Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and application advice for all of our products to our sales team and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative of our company, supporting its products and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver expert post-sales technical support for our products and systems via email and phone.
  • Assist customers, the customer service team, and with application-based pre-sales technical inquiries.
  • Provide specialist product advice to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
  • Manage and resolve complaints and technical inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with commercial engineers, technical consultants, and product managers—to deliver accurate solutions for business-related technical projects.
  • Create and maintain technical resources, such as website content and knowledge base articles.
  • Facilitate level 1 and level 2 technical training sessions for internal staff, with a focus on the customer service centre.
  • Support sales staff with technical presentations and field assistance as required.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical or electronics engineering (consideration will be made for applicants in related disciplines).
  • 1-3+ years experience in an engineering role.
  • Practical application knowledge in power distribution, motor control, automation, machine safety, or industrial products.
  • Demonstrated passion for building a career in technology, with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning.
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A highly motivated and enthusiastic approach, with a strong work ethic and pride in delivering quality results.
  • Advanced computer literacy and confidence in navigating digital tools and systems.
