We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing critical and technically challenging activities, ensuring project safety, time, quality, environment, and budget objectives are achieved.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Prepare and monitor project management plans, systems, and registers as delegated by the Project Manager.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage a number of 'critical path' type subcontractors to technical requirements.
- Quality Control: Establish and monitor quality controls as per specifications and project management plans, reporting variances and rectifying quality defects.
- Resource Management: Identify and manage project resources, including materials handling equipment, for optimum productivity.
- Cost Management: Assist with cost management and reporting, including preparation of project reports, material registers, cash flow predictions, and progress claims.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or a recognized equivalent. Additionally, they should have construction delivery experience in a Project Engineer or Site Engineer capacity.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
- Initiative and Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
- Pressure Management: Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
