Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective rulemaking strategies to achieve environmental protection goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including community groups, industry representatives, and government agencies, to gather input and feedback on proposed rules
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform rulemaking decisions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to build trust and support for environmental protection initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on environmental regulations and policies
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in environmental policy, rulemaking, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective rulemaking strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
