About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal GTM Specialist – GenAI to lead our GenAI strategy and go-to-market activities for the Australia and New Zealand Business. As part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) GenAI & AI/ML team, you will position AWS as the best place to run GenAI & AI/ML workloads.

This is an individual contributor role that will interact with the commercial business. You will provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in GenAI or AIML technology domain experience, with at least 7+ years of experience. They will also have excellent presentation skills, with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.

The WWSO team works backwards from customers to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Our team includes business development, specialist sales, and technical solutions architecture. Key Responsibilities:

Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best-in-class field enablement and sales strategy.Support field teams in solution building for high-priority customers.Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.

Location:

The successful candidate will be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or other locations in Australia. We are open to hiring candidates who can work remotely or relocate to one of our offices.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is around $200,000 - $300,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • BA/BS degree required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
