We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data-Driven AI Strategy Lead to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who can lead our GenAI go-to-market activities and help drive business growth.

About the Role

As a Data-Driven AI Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing our GenAI strategy across the region. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and technical opportunities to drive innovation and adoption of AWS GenAI services.

You will have a deep understanding of the GenAI landscape and be able to leverage your expertise to create best-in-class field enablement and sales strategies. Your role will also involve collaborating with field teams to develop solutions for high-priority customers and bringing market signals back to product teams to inform innovation on AWS product roadmaps.

A key part of this role will be owning reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution and demonstrating thought leadership through credible representation at industry events, conferences, and symposia.

About the Team

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WSO) GenAI & AI/ML team at Amazon Web Services positions us as the best place to run GenAI & AI/ML workloads. Our team helps customers become data-driven organizations and implement GenAI & AI/ML capabilities at scale.

This is an individual contributor role that will interact with the commercial business, working closely with specialists and domain experts across the complete data and AI value chain. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Melbourne or Sydney.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 7+ years of GenAI or AI/ML technology domain experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
